Nobody else I know wears a helmet.
Are they gonna die
if they arn't careful and do the stupidest thing on it then yes.

I know people who have gone through a head hit before and I have myself, I've seen people start bleeding from it, all you need is stitches. The only way you can die from skateboarding is if you ollie into a huge meat grinder

why are there so many fisheye lenses

Cause normal lenses are to mainstream

so im planning on buying a skateboard soon

Are you kidding? With Skateboarding, you kick a board with wheels on it around, go off jumps and grind on rails. That's all balance.

Parkour is full body acrobatics that combines extreme strength with dexterity to get to normally unreachable places in a fluent and stylish manner.

It takes WAAAAY more skill and strength to be good at parkour than it does to be good at skateboarding. Hell, every skinny jeaned loser and their pot headed friends are "good" at kicking a board around. A good parkourer is much harder to find and not every shmuck can do it.

Are you like being satirical? There is no way someone can have the audacity to say skateboarding takes no skill and anyone can do it.

By all means though, if your head is not worth protecting don't bother wearing a helmet.

I wish I could do either of these. I think the most movement like this I could pull off is things like small parkour. Jumping over fences and such. I watch this, and honestly all I see is beauty. Skaters seem to act like their skateboard is a part of them. If they're doing it right, it's nearly always right next to their body. Free-runners are cool to watch because they're in complete control of their body. They know what's happening and think up a plan on how to move, and then can execute it perfectly. Everything about both of these are just humanity in it's prime. So pretty to watch.

Every megaramp skater I know wears a helmet.

Wide angle so you can see the skating more, and from down below it does get a nice shot to show the entire board and the person onscrewwn

I thought this same exact thing which is why i picked up skateboarding in the first place. That and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was fun.

You can just slip walking down the street and crack your skull open and die. To say hitting your head when skateboarding is fine and safe and all it causes is bleeding is just handicapped. I have an example of how little it takes to get an injury it doesn't really relate to a helmet but it still shows just how fragile you are. I knew a guy in one of my classes in college who used to be a fireman and one day while walking out of a building of a fire he just put out he took a step down a 3 inch little step at the door and as a freak accident he landed on it wrong and the bones in his legs shattered in like 8 places and he had to have metal rods inserted all up his legs lol.
