I, personally, love Mini Empires. I was on Alpha X's the other day and it crashed. Looking for a different server, I came across Pandermatism's. And do you know what it was? It was the exact same map from Alpha X's. It even made me require his trust to build on it. He was also lying about continuing, as everyone else was playing on the map too. Here's the chat:

I fail to see the issue.
He loaded a save because he wanted to fool around with it. He isn't stealing it.

He was using the build as a map for everyone else without giving any credit to Alpha.

Pander was an extreme starfish on my mini empires aswell. I suggest you avoid him on any ME server

He is allowed to take a map and play in it but it's really unrecommended. So unless he is taking credit for making it (Which I don't state seeing.) then it's a bad problem. Not drama-worthy.

Whether he was a richard on other servers isn't part of the matter, because right now. All he was doing was isolating the two little forts so he could have his own fun with them. He never stated he owned the build, or did anything that insinuated stealing it. Even though he was hosting multiplayer, he still wasn't stealing the build.

If he is not giving credit or didn't even ask for permission to use it first, then he is stealing it.

I'll be sure to ban him from my server.

That's like accusing someone who loaded a default save of stealing because they didn't ask permission.
I remember saving many things, albeit incomplete, but things that were being made by respective members of the time. Loading them, and blowing them up and fooling around with them. Does that mean I stole them? No, because I never claimed that I made them.

Pandermatism ne'er claimed that he made the build. He isn't stealing it. He's just having fun.

Regardless, if it was my builds and you were hosting them without asking me first then it's stealing. And no, the brown townogy of default saves doesn't really apply, because they are DEFAULT...

I don't see the problem.
He was having fun battling another empire when you apparently shut the server down or something, so he saved the build so he could continue it on his own server.
Saving builds is not a crime.

he's not claiming he made the build. he outright said he took it from alpha's server. explain to me exactly who gets hurt when someone sees a build they like and reuses it while still giving credit to the original creator of said build

Being able to save and load anyone's builds is a wonderful feature. It saddens me to see people getting so possessive over builds. There is no loving harm in what the guy is doing. In order for complaining about what you consider build stealing to be an intelligent concept, he would need to be going around publicizing the other person's builds and claiming it to be his own, or possibly taking a private build that he had been given trust to see and hosting it.
