Will water be any different with shadows?
It won't cast any shadows.

Will mission editor still work?

Will mission editor still work?
Of course, despite the loss of interiors, it can still spawn everything else like precipitation, FX sun light, static shapes, and so on, it can still be used when editing GUIs too

Im confused and dont want to flip through 170-some pages, are we loseing ALL the maps that we downloaded from rtb, defaults, EVERYTHING execpt SLATE???
Anything that has terrain and/or interiors

But don't worry, things will improve over time

What about bricks with the Render, Collision and raycasting? Does any 3 of them affect shadows?

People think we're keeping slate lol. Slate is dying too. We're getting an endless plane.

The 4th property

☑ Rendering
☑ Collision
☑ Ray Casting
☑ Blocks light

yeah but kalph how did you know this :0
I didn't, I just made it up.

actually a couple tens of pages back kalphiter said that there would be a fourth check option added called "Blocks light"
I'm pretty sure kompressor never confirmed that.

Real or not, its a good idea.

That is illogical.

Interiors are being removed because they break the new shadows, and may be added again in the future.
No, it's perfectly logical.

They are being removed because they complicate every bit of code that involves them.

Kompressor himself talked about it. Go find his post.

Exactly, so there wouldn't be a need to remove anything else if they aren't causing any problems with the coding.
