I played this with a friend today, and all I can say is that I'm disappointed, Sony is really running out of ideas here, don't get me wrong on this, but some of the features look like as if they were shoehorned in late in development for more competition value against the 3DS, such as the ARG games* and Near, they seem like things Sony wanted to add just so they could get people interested.
*I know that Nintendo didn't invent ARG, as Sony has experimented with it ages before, but it seemed like they rushed it just for it to stand better against the 3DS.
But that aside, it's a pretty decent console, though it seems like they're trying to appeal to casual gamers like Nintendo with Welcome Park though, that thing makes me feel like a goddamn 6 year old.
Here's hoping you people won't be flooded with stuffty games from third party developers, the PSP was beaten up badly by those before
