People need to understand that "Petitioning" the update will just cause blockland to slow down, even stop altogether. This update, as I've stated multiple times, not only paves the rocky road that was the blockland engine and makes updating much easier, but it also cushions the fall. The shadows are there to make up for losing interiors and terrain, at least, that's how it is from my view-point. Would you rather we just lost terrains and interiors then have nothing to make up for it? I sure as hell wouldn't.
The terrains and interiors were enjoyable while they lasted, but now they're just an obstacle. Enjoy them while you still can, because after this, there is no "back", there is only forwards.

this isnt an update for shadows. this is an engine update. and the shadows were the first content for it we are getting.

imagine the fix without starting content at version launch. you would lose your maps and not have new things to enjoy at all. you would be so confused you would kill yourself.

Terrain and Interiors have been used without raging disrespect until Eric showed v21. Most of you are just mindlessly following Badspot and his cohort's new project in hopes that he'll glimpse at you and give you a witty response.

When you think about the projects people have that use one or the two and the huge sense of dread they feel about having to let go of countless hours of work, and you just pushing them away as vermin you are helping to ruin the community and make people outside of this domain shun us even more.

After doing some simple math, I have come up with a statistic. For every one person that is against the update, there are 3.10 people (I figured you'd want the actual figure) who support it. That means that ~76% of Blockland is for the update (Real figure is simplified to 0.7563). It's also inevitable.

Just wait, the update will suck.
I do understand it.

I know we can build, but think about it, it will be MEGA laggy if we have to build something HUGE to replace a map.

You do realise a Terrain Brick Pack would destroy your main concern for v21 right?

Besides, with no interiors, people wont rely souly on maps to make their build. Nothing annoys me more than when I join a server and there is no build, just a map. The update will help create larger and more detailed builds to be made more often.

This is one of the best things to happen to Blockland.
