Stop Wi-Fi jackers from stealing your bandwidth.
You can also use a lower-security WEP for compatibility with other devices (DS, PSP-1/2K, etc.) but WPA2 is recommended.

I know for a fact nobody is stealing my wifi.
The only people that live nearby are some old people, and they definitely aren't elite hackers (or enough hacker to find out my randomized WEP code).

Yeah, I believe it may be. My mom's computer has a couple toolbars and random stuff installed. She thought it was her computer before we switched ISPs. She never complains that it's slow now.

Sounds like throttling. My previous ISP throttled from 3PM to 12/1AM, any other time would be fine.

This makes it sound like you'd know how much bandwidth it would eat.
