After waiting, an Imperial navy fleet, four regiments of Imperial Guard, two companies of space marines, one brotherhood of grey knights, and an Ordo Malleus inquisitor arrive and begin engaging the chaos fleet.

I think you have enough backup to go to the planet.

Wait for the Grey Knights or one unit of speesh/t-shirt flashlight brigade to support you before you go down.
Bring one psyker with carapace armor.
Bring both Crusaders.
Bring both gun servitors and one tech servitor.
Bring two PDF squads, both sergeants of those squads using carapace armor, one using a hotshot las-gun.
Three Chimeras, two for the squads, and one for you and the specialists.
Keep the Valkyrie in the ship for quick evac.
Take your usual inventory: Storm Bolter, Powersword, and Power Armor.

Before going down to the planet, the other Inquisitor tells you to meet up with him.



He tells you that this is the safest spot close to where the main daemonic incursion is. He has with him two grey knight terminators and some purifiers in reserve in case things get tough. The plan is to follow this highway to where the portal is and close it with the grey knights help.
