EyeOS is a web based os you host. Once you set up the HTTPd(Apatchi) you can assess it anywere
Its powered by PHP and Mysql

Saw this quite a while ago. I guess I could try to set it up, just because I'm waiting for an answer for an SO question, so I don't have anything to do right now.

I just installed it on my server and seems to work OK.

Just set it up on http://eyeos.dontcare4free.com/. It's on my old domain because setting up a new subdomain would take too long and I had a wildcard DNS entry on the old one.
