I have an idea that can help save the terrain maps we like. We can make v21 a separate game, but not... basically make the v20-past versions stay like they are, and make v21-ahead a separate type/game/thing. I don't know, I just want to save my GSF Paradise! I just don't want to lose that one map :(

More effort than you'd think. You'd have to rebuild the entire terrain. The houses would be relatively easy to make, though.

One map isn't enough reason to stop/modify an update.

My suggestion, think of it as a great purge. You can't have your sickness forever.

You lost GSF paradice, the game is better, Badspot gets money, he updates it, the game gets better and better, people build more.

But he does care about us. Many people have been wanting a graphics update for a long time, and seeing that a majority of the people support this update, Badspot is doing a great job caring about us.

Topics like these make me wonder why some people even GO to the development board.
It clearly said that the maps cannot stay and the update cannot be stopped anymore, and making it into another blockland is also not possible.

Yet he spends his own money to keep the game and the forums advertisement-free.
And he didn't go for micro-transaction setup like every other game seems to be doing, making you pay money for extra pointless content.

Blockland isn't Habbo. Habbo is a game where the owners only want money. Like Brian said, Badspot cares more about the game, community and people, then the money.
