A week before the Screen Writers Guild strike, my mom had bought tickets for Spamalot on Broadway. I was so excited. While we were on the plane, the strike began. We found out after we got off, and all the stagehands went on strike, leaving all the musicals and plays to shut down indefinitely.

Our showing was the day after the stagehands went on strike. I was extremely upset.

I almost went to see Spamalot but it sold out like a month before. It was only at the theatre for one day too.
