Author Topic: Maps with randomly generated clouds  (Read 616 times)

It would be nice to have maps/slates with randomly generated cloud emitters after a certain height from the ground, but below a certain height, so you can fly above the clouds.

There's already functionality for clouds built into maps.

Not those kind of clouds, just basic moving ones.

When you see moving clouds it is actually the sun as only the sun is allowed to be animated.

I never map and I know that's a lie.

I've accidentally made animated clouds without add-ons, scripts, or console.

He means clouds that are actually there. Not a texture.

If someone makes me a cloud emitter particle and script I can make physical clouds inside an actual slate map.

Yes, moving clouds are possible but not ones that you can interact with with basic mapping.

What would be cool is dynamically changing the sky texture/lighting for each client. So like if someone jets off really high, it turns into an atmosphere sky, then a space sky with the earth below them, etc.

I can easily put emitters in maps, I just need a cloud emitter.

The datablocks aaaaaa

Is it possible to have simple, cartoony dts clouds fly across the sky. Would make awesome shadows on the ground for v21
