Water involves terrain.
No more terrain.
Yup.
forget it.

Huh, I didn't know water was thought of as terrain. I feel stupid now, lol

(I know, not good res)

My favorite is the last one, but I'm also interested to see how the texture from the last link I posted would look with Blockland. Also, there's really no need for Badspot to update the water texture. We'll be getting a ton of new maps as soon as the update comes out, and it's extremely simple to change the water texture of a map (you don't even need to open Blockland).

Water is staying.

water does not involve terrain

We cant put it in our maps can we?
No.
You see
If there is a ditch (terrain) and you fill it with water (water) and then the update comes, it just gonna be a big chunk of water!
So basically, you still get water, but unless you want a chunk of it, then don't even bother.

Water will stay. It has nothing to do with terrain.

This has been an experiment. Gabe Newell Said That!

This is what it will look like 1x1 tiled.

This is what an 8x8 tile will look.

8x8 is superior to 1x1.

Found this on Google Images, i totally think this should be used as it looks far better than the current texture :cookieMonster:
Congratulations, you found the current texture.

Possible with Shaders, hell you wouldn't even need a texture if it was a shader.

I just got the perfect idea (if it is possible, of course, otherwise, it's the dumbest idea for Blockland ever)!  I think we should have reflective water!  Minecraft modders made this possible in Minecraft, so why not make it possible in Blockland?
Pros:
-Would look nice in games
-More realistic
Cons:
-Lag
-Would not be very accurate
