I would be just fine whit the following:

-Cowboy hat
-Army Helmet
-Scouter
-glasses
-hood
-crown
-tophat
-a normal cap.
-ears

And also in the bodypart selection:
-Beta parts
-Robot parts
-Claws
-Claws

Crown,
Eskimo hat,
Wizzard hat

And, maybe items that you are able to hold on your left hand? such as:
Suitcase,
Mug,
Bucket

Didn't somebody say somewhere that having all of these parts would increase the poly count because the play is made of nodes that can be made invisible? They still render on the player nonetheless.

This is why we can't have more avatar options, folks. This is why they made hatmod+.
Spread hatmod+ to enough servers, and then everyone will have what they need where they want it.
I almost wonder if the entire player avatar couldn't be handled this way. Would make for some interesting customization abilities. *shrug*

This was never proven.

No, it was created because that's the only ethical way to do it as an add-on. We can't add avatar customization as add-ons.

I would love it if a pot helmet was added.
Would make team death matches a lot easier because you wouldn't have to think your wearing a helmet instead of a racing helmet.
