Author Topic: What determines a persons taste in music  (Read 3185 times)

Most of my music is 60s or before. Nothing has influenced me to pick music like this, it's really a matter of opinion. I for one, don't like lyrics like "I'm lovey and I know it" because they make no sense or are very narcissistic.

My parents really sort of hate romantic era classical music but I love it.

Yeah. I really hate modern music, most rap is just guys talking about how much of a G they are. 60s-80s music seems much better to me, but like the topic is about, we all have different tastes.

please allow me to introduce myself...

The rate of their mother's heartbeat while they were in the womb.
would that be an average or right before birth?

Nothing other than what they think sounds good?

I like pretty much most of the music I listen to, which covers a lot of differing genres..

I like bands from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I prefer songs with lyrics that tell a story, but they don't make or break a song for me. And example of a good old song that tells a story would be Bad Bad Leroy Brown.
