I'd make it proper and not put people that are just nobodies that nobody has ever heard of before on.

Go for it. I think it'd be pretty cool to have a real campaign and stuff. We don't have to set it all the way in November or whatever.
If you want me to draft up rules and regulations (term limits, restrictions, polling, etc) I can.

I think that musical education is an important part of the school curriculum. However, I tend to lean toward populist rock myself.

Your rate of intelligence is only matched by your ability to work. If you're stupid, chances are you can't work. So, no. However, I have a very strict anti-stupidity law in the works, and assuming the Blockland legislature will pass it, then there will be heavy fees placed on anyone who fails to be smart.
