Is it possible to make a model of a person, minifig or w/e and make it into a ragdoll? Like its arms, legs, and all will go limb (They'll hang), it may be possible, maybe like, something to do with joints and assigning them to parts of the model?

yay, first post, it be awsome, a explosion making your body fling around or a head shot and you fall backwords without having your arms like a mummy, that be awsome.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, but I also don't know much about modding.

It would also be cool if the bodies stayed there for more than a few seconds. That might lag if someone decided to go Self Delete crazy.

na, lets make it so that you only have 2 dead bodys lasting longer OR we can have one body lasting forever and if you die, it eliminates the first one.

If it is possible, i want it to be like the Ragdoll in HL2 - Gmod, cause those ragdolls are fun, especially when they spaz out and are blown up, both and either way, its fun XD

NOTE: Spaz out means when the model goes crazy and its arms, and legs start flailing around like crazy

Let me remind you and everyone else that this is not Half Life 2, nor is it running on the Source engine. The features you talk of are purly unique to that engine only. To add something like ragdoll effects in Blockland (which really isn't needed for such a game), it would require much time on Blockland's creator to modify to get it to even work.

Simply put: It ain't worth the time if it is at all even possible on the Torque Game Engine.

Eh, if it was doable, the maker of the mod coulda used the Human Male skeleton that comes with MS3D

I don't think it could even be done on the currect game engine, it would require re-writting the game on some other engine.

We can't go ragdoll'd, since our arms and feet are mysteriously connected through air. If we got ragdoll'd at death, our feet would stay where you were standing, your hands would fall off. Your body, having nothing to hold it back like arms or feet, would fly on to oblivion.

Just make the hands and feat and head all disassemble and fall down.
It would have a much better effect than the current death IMO.

I have an effect in my server where the skis "Tumble" effect happens until your body dissapears. It works quite well.

If it made multiple ski death vehicles, with lots of bot minifigs with set hidenodes/etc, it would be possible to have the "Body Explode" effect. I might look into that, maybe area damage.

Torque does have limited physics capabilities, as shown by the Ballin' mod. But I think that in order to fully utilize physics; Badspot would have to move up to the Torque Game Engine Advanced, which is expensive and would take a very long time to do. I think that we will be stuck with premade animations for a while to come.
