Community Builds

I think they're extremely good for Blockland society in general, and they bring people to trust each other. However, I haven't really seen any recently. The last one that I saw was Rusty's, where everyone pitched in and it turned out fantastic. Nothing has happened like that since.
If anyone has any comments about community builds, ideas, or wants to host one, please post it here.

As long as people aren't replicating something that already exists and everyone isn't building on the same build/object/thing I think community builds could work pretty neatly.

Also, Communist, that's not a style that I'll be good at, I can assure you. I'm an unreliable builder and that doesn't have a concrete theme. I can build creatively within strictures, but without them, I can be pretty horrible. I'm sure others are the same.

Althur is sort of a half-community build as a lot of random people have contribbed. I really don't care who builds on the build so long as they know what they're doing and are decent at building.

Personally I feel the lack of open contribution has killed a lot of potentially great builds.

Personally, I don't like neighborhood builds much unless they're afghan style or whatever.
