Author Topic: Does anyone else want a Mirrors Edge 2?  (Read 1289 times)

I played Mirrors Edge and thought it was fantastic. Even though the story was lacking and the parkour was mostly based on trail and error I thought the game was incredibly unique in it's presentation and style. So far there has been no mention of a new Mirrors Edge, would you like to see one?

I don't know anyone who wouldn't.

I want Mirrors Edge 2 more than Half-Life 3.

most of the time I see stupid story suggestions like:
MABE U CAN BE FAITHS DAUGHTER OR SUN AND YOU HAVE TO RUN FROM TEH COPS CAUS ETHE GOVEMERNT IS UNDER CORRUPTION FROM EVIL MAN

but yeah I would like a sequel
but where would the story go

meh
I never played mirror's edge 1 that much
I'd be ambivalent

YES.
And if they do make one, it would be awesome if DICE did it like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, more stealth oriented, and a lot more freedom.

Yes. I loved the first game and I would really want to see a second one come out. I'm hoping there's a freeroam mode where you can just parkour wherever you want.

I would like freeroam, but I don't think stealth would be good for a parkour game. The point is to run a lot. You usually don't sprint and jump when you're trying to be stealthy.

The quiet building parts before fights were probably my favorite parts of the game, then having to try and seek these out would really be what I mean as stealth.  I really kinda mean the whole hiding from pursuers part of the game.

I just want more scenes where you can push somebody off a building or kick somebody in the back of the head.

Mirrors Edge was a very much run-and-hide type of game. I felt like stealth was an option but the game really forces you into combat.

I would love a sequel to mirrors edge. The parts that were the best in my opinion were the ones where you would be running from the police and the bullets would fly and hit right next to you and make you jump. It really gave you an adrenaline rush and it was right after the intense encounters where you could take a moment to breath that really made the game incredible and unlike many games.

Dammit, now I wanna play Mirror's Edge. Why didn't I buy it when it was on sale for $5?

I remember in one level you're running on a balcony while a cop around the corner jumps in front of you. My first instinct was to attack and I kicked him off. I stopped and said "oh stuff. Was I supposed to do that?"
