Guy stuck in elevator with epic diarrhea

I was recently shown this video where a man is stuck in an elevator for 41 hours with big diarrhea (I know, I'm late). He then proceeds to freak out and act just unnatural as he craps, faps, craps more and eventually dies.

I then started to do some research to see whether this was real or not and found a real case that occurred back in 1999 where a man was trapped in an elevator for 41 hours (sounds familiar). The footage revealed of this case was not nearly as bad at all as this man seemed to handle this case very natural and composed compared to the other one.

I then read something about the diarrhea video which claimed that is was made by "The Office" as a spoof, being acted out by Jim Carrey but there is no solid proof of that. So, to those of you knowledgeable about this, please educate me as to the legitimacy of the first video.
