I said all continents started and ended with an A "Asia, Afria, Antartica, AMERICA"
Europe.
I've always referred to the continent as North America and the country as the United States of America and I refer to the people as Americans because I can't call you a "United-Statian". That just doesn't make sense.
If anything, it's America's lack of exact name to be the problem.
United States of America isn't really the name of a country so much as it is a group of places under the same government.
It's like me saying the United Kingdom is a country (Which it is often referred to, but I can't see how it is).
Well, it's not a country. It's a Kingdom, made of Countries.
And for me to refer to UK as the name of my country isn't really right.
I think what I'm trying to say is that USA is your country, North America is your continent and Americans are you people because you have a really awkward name for your country.
It's a bit like the UK renaming itself to the United Kingdom of Europe and then calling our country "Europe".
USA gets away with it though because it makes up most of North America.

How did you come to use the same term as me? :C
