Wth Minecraft?

I've been on MC lately, and for some reason, my multiplayer doesn't work. Now, keep listening, there is more.
When I log in, it says LOGIN FAILED, and I play off-line. This never happened until I copied my brother's files for his MC because mine stopped working in general from that damn Milleniare mod. So, multiplayer doesn't work, I must play off-line, and thus, no updates.
What the hell is going on!?

Also, if needed, I'm willing to ask for a copy of your .minecraft folder to replace my stuff.

Oh, I'm sorry, didn't explain this part.
Whenever I download MC again, I force update and all, it says "Login Failed" and it also says "Not Downloaded" and I can't play offline.

Minecraft.net is up as usual.

Nope. I even used my friend's account while he was over and we spelled it correctly.
