This is my Megathread for dubstep music, I created this because Monocle has departed from the land of the living and I want my own topic I can update.

What's Dubstep?

I heard about something called 'Brostep' whats that?

Pretty much dubstep. The difference being unlike traditional dubstep production styles, that emphasize sub-bass content, brostep accentuates the middle register and features "robotic fluctuations and metal-esque aggression." If it makes it easier on your mind you can just think of it as "Americanized Dubstep."


Important If your just here to bitch about how brostep isn't dubstep, or about how dubstep "isn't actual music", or make pointless sarcastic comments don't bother posting.

also ukf has sucked some major richard lately, all of their songs are pretty bad.
monstercat only releases music that they approve of, and therefore release MUCH higher quality music, even if it isn't all dubstep.
