Author Topic: how do i lucidly dream  (Read 9090 times)

do you feel panic or any form of fear when you hear things?

Slightly as it is unexpected, but not usually as I'm used to it now.
When i get too warm ever in bed, my body becomes paralyzed and I can't move (Unless VERY slowly), and I'm awake and conscious. It's scary as forget. I have to build up energy and jolt a part of my body very fast to get out of it.

I'm tempted to try this, but from all of these "sleep paralysis is really freaky" stories, I'm not so sure.

Tried last night. Was able to be perfectly still for 5 minutes. Then I started panicking and gave up.

i was sort of lucid last night but it all turned into some sort of forumer war
some guy got his head smashed with a steel I-beam and got blood and brains everywhere. it was pretty gross.

I expected this to be simple. It was not only tough, but rather scary.

I can never get into sleep paralysis, my arms and legs fall asleep but no pressure on my chest or anything
I've tried the binural beats too

This is bullstuff you guys.
yes, sleep paralysis is one of the many ways to induce a lucid dream, but there are other ways.
just google lucid dreaming and disregard the sleep paralysis, there's at least like 5 other methods.

SP is one of the most effective though.

You just said it's bullstuff and then proceeded to explain why it isn't.

no, this topic, which consists of being afraid of SP, and by extension lucid dreaming, is bullstuff.

Can't you just go to sleep and then some way make yourself aware that you are dreaming?

It's a lot harder than it sounds.

Ignoring all your basic urges for 30 minutes sounds pretty hard too

Isn't lucid dreaming extremely unhealthy?

Well, I've heard that doing reality checks in real life a lot can help you start doing them in you dreams. I've never tried it though.
