Take water.
Boil water.
Put sugar in water.
Put sugar water in jar.
Put popsicle stick over jar.
Hang string in jar.
Sorry, but there is no way of making flat rock candy, it must have something to crystalize on.

Mix 1 qrt. Windex, 2 qrt. Water, and 2 cups of sugar. Boil mixture for 10 minutes, then, enjoy.
