I think your name is a bigger issue.
every night when I sit in bed if there is a very dim light on the ceiling I look at it for 5 seconds then it get darker then even darker eventually its completly black then when I blink its the same light and it happens again and again.
This happens to everyone.

Pretty sure it's just your eyes adjusting to the light. Because that happens to me on the regular.
you wear shades so it happens all the timeSee, lay down in your bed at night and stare around the room without shifting your eyes. The room will progressively become darker until it is as dark as it is closing your eyes. I assume lucid dreaming starts like this but I always move my eyes at like the last second. This is like seventh grade science!
