Dear Mass Effect 1, you made me think differently about sci-fi video games. You made me open my eyes to RPGs, you have given me Liara, you have given me an epic. Even though we had our rough spots like your ability to make squad mates steal my cover, the mako, your elevators and of course liara blocking the exit with a box. But I still love you.

Dear Mass Effect 2, You've grown up so fast. You have evolved, you have given me more guns, armor, and new people to meet. But where have the special parts of you gone? Liara, weapon progression etc. Although you have dumped the bad parts like your elevators and the mako. But they're are some things you used to have that are now gone. I miss those things, but I will always still love you no matter what happens. :)

Dear Mass Effect 3, I've heard you're back in town, I can't wait to see you later this week. I heard you brought back most of the things that made you, you. But you still kept the other things in your adult years years that made you great.  I know you're getting older and you don't have much time left. I'm sorry for all the things bad I said about you before, I don't want you to go away. But I hope we will have an enjoyable last few days together.

Mass Effect 1.....

Mass Effect was released in 2007 on November 20 in USA and Canada, November 22 in Australia and New Zealand, and on November 23 in Europe. It was also released as a Limited Collector's Edition, containing bonus materials including an art book and the Galactic Codex: Essentials Edition 2183 booklet, which gives background on the Mass Effect universe.
The game was later re-made by BioWare and Demiurge Studios for the PC, and the PC-DVD version was released in summer 2008. By summer 2008 there were also versions of the game translated into Spanish, French and Italian. A Japanese-language version is in development for the Xbox 360 only. Mass Effect is available via Xbox's Games on Demand; the full game is available for $19.99 in the USA and $29.99 in Canada. You take on the role of Commander Shepard onboard the SSV Normandy en route to the human colony of Eden Prime in an operation to recover a recently unearthed Prothean beacon. The crew is joined on the mission by the turian Spectre Nihlus Kryik from the Citadel's Office of Special Tactics and Reconnaissance. The mission was meant to test Shepard's suitability for the role as a Spectre, but quickly changes when the Normandy arrives at the colony to find it's under attack by an unidentified alien space craft

Mass Effect 1, when you look at the box art you might expect a corny sci-fi shooter. But you're horribly wrong, Mass Effect is one of the best games ever made, it's got all you need, drama, action, comedy, suspense and even romance. Now, sadly I first bought Mass Effect 2 witch spoiled a lot when I picked this game up and as a warning to all of you who want to get into it, PLAY THIS FIRST!!!! 8/10

Mass Effect 2.....

Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced.
To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy's most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even then, they say it would be Self Delete. Commander Shepard intends to prove them wrong. Mass Effect 2 is a science-fiction role-playing action game developed by BioWare for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3.[1] It is the sequel to Mass Effect and the second game in the Mass Effect trilogy.

Now like I said before I played this first and I have to say when I first started I wasn't very interested. I was at my cousin's house after he recently bought it and I tried it but, I don't know. I just wasn't very interested so I set it down. The next day I decided to try it again, still wasn't fun. It wasn't till the last day when something happened, for some reason I had to urge to try it again and this time I couldn't stop. Sadly this was the last day I was there so I felt stupid. I then later bought it for the PC and I stil play it to this day. While I'm a little disappointed it focused a little to much in the action of the action rpg, it's still fun but It's my least favorite of the three. 7.5/10

Mass Effect 3....

Mass Effect 3 is the sequel to Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 developed by BioWare for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.[1] It is intended to be the final game in the planned Mass Effect trilogy. Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth.

Mass Effect 3, you have so much inside you, yet you die with an insult. I loved every single bit till the end. But I'll still remember you in my heart for the rest. While Mass Effect 3 didn't have a very good ending, the rest was just awesome. I definantly felt the weight of my decisions, like an example where I didn't go into Grissom Academy and heard the recording of Jack getting tortured because she was captured. Then killing her later, that right there is what grips me. Consequences, I love that in a game and ME3 pulls it off in all the right spots. The multiplayer is great too, while the matchmaking could use some work and a manual server browser would be nice, it just feels right for all the classes working together. This game is a must buy, but please by the first 2 first. 9.9/10

Spin offs include an Ipod and iphone app called Mass Effect galaxy. I haven't played it and it was taken off the app store in 2010. Rumors of a Mass Effect online and a Movie is in the works.

I loving hate that the pc version forces you to download that piece of stuff origin. Anyone looking forward to buying it o steam will have no luck finding it :(

Well I remember reading something about how this is just the end of Shepard's story. I at least know they're also making a movie.

I liked Mass Effect 1 to play it fully 4 times and 2 was OK I guess but there were a lot of things I didn't like once they switched over to EA. I'm just skipping out on ME3; I don't like buying into EA's bullstuff.

Do you guys know if there is anyway to recover a Mass Effect save that I just deleted from within the game today?

I made the mistake that I often make with rpgs, which is deleting a save after thinking I want to start off the game with a different character and then deciding I don't want to play through the beginning stuff again just because I wanted to play as femshep instead of male shepard.
I realized I don't want to play as femshep and I want my 10 hours of gameplay back from the deleted save.

Anyway, I got the Collector's (lol ME2) Edition, and it's pretty awesome. I'm at the part right after you get Garrus back and you have to take the Turian General back to the Citidel.

Shame Bioware is milking this last game for every cent.

You realize they always intended Mass Effect to be a trilogy? I don't see where there is any milking.

Great game,went for the renegade ending without killing every organic. If that kid weren't been there or was atleast synthetic it would've made more sense in my opinion :/.
