End's debrief:
no spoiler edition

Beat it this morning. Took me <25 with all sidequests and the D1 DLC. Xbox 360. Vanguard.

I had to swap discs roughly 10 times. Tedious but bearable. Most of you probably have the Origin version and are better off in that regard.

I was hoping they'd make the Normandy one level. Nonetheless I love the upgrades. Both appealing and fun to run around in. Always made sure to stop in with Joker and EDI just to hear what they were saying. It is kind of annoying to know that you might miss some reputation points due to randomly(?) occurring conversations.

As for the gameplay itself, putting the whole 'one button does all' bit behind, yeah, it felt pretty good. Felt it needed some mercs. SMG has some recoil. Unreachable targets (by biotic charge) are always annoying but reasonable.

The main plot has a tendency of being predictable, and every now and then I was a little disappointed.

I just want to explore in peace (I'm a completion purist), but I keep having to deal with this reaper-chasing-me-out-of-the-system bullstuff.

You are in the middle of a war where Reapers are everywhere vying to eliminate all organic life. Sorry, but that is the point of the game at this stage of the timeline. I'm a completist as well and I found a means to get around it without too much headache.

>come back, awareness bar is at 99.9999999999% still
>scan once and miss, reapers show up again
>leave, mission, return
>scan again and miss
>repeat ad infinitum

The only way I see myself continuing is if I look up where the stuff of interest is in each system so I only have to scan as few times as necessary.

Sometimes you might hear the game go "doonk" like you went over a planet or space station when you really didn't. If you scan, there'll most likely be something there. It's not a reliable way of scanning but I've had it happen a few times.

Alright well I decided to roll with the collectors edition. The game looks alright but the first cutscene was pretty laggy if I might add. It could be my ps3 or something I dunno.

yeah, it's not like the reapers are invading and eradicating all life in the galaxy or something. im sure theyll make an exception for you so you can find your cache of 750 fuel

Just cause it's a story element, that doesn't automatically make it a fun element of gameplay.

The only way I see myself continuing is if I look up where the stuff of interest is in each system so I only have to scan as few times as necessary.

I usually can scan a whole system reapers and all without having to do a mission. Just keep popping in and out and scan like mad as you run around the system. If you find anything, either go for it or pop out and go back in. Yeah, It's a little cat and mouse game, but a lot easier than doing a mission and returning.

so APPARENTLY there's 10 possible romance options in the game. 6 of these romance options you can only get if you continued it from the last game. wtf? I didn't play the last game and I want a romance option for them god dammit. asdf bioware why would you do this to me. my other problem is how you dont get to see wrex. I watched somebody else play Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and I instantly saw wrex as a coolbro. i want wrex :c
