I'm going to laugh at how much they have to scale down the violence.

i liked the book series but all the fan girls seem to be obsessing it like twilight and its starting to make me not like it
yeah, they are really obsessing over it. every little trailer results in hundreds of .gif's of the same scene and it makes it lose it's touch. a good example would be the scene with katniss and cinna.
no offense carol your cool c:

i'm going to laugh at how much the media tries to make it seem like the whole series is intended to be some kind of teenage love triangle.

also it seems the main thing everyone is talking about is "omg the cave scene"

the best way to win the games:
take off anything that doesn't weigh a lot and throw it on everyone's else's plates

Wait, they are?

it's not intended to be a "love triangle", but the media will probably make it seem like that.

so uh is this about hungry people competing for food wtf

i'm probably going to cry when rue dies
i cried while reading the book ; ;

I actually stopped in the middle of the LotR trilogy to read this series. To simply put the rest of a series off for later is not something I do lightly.
My school is having a party for the movie release on the 23rd. Trivia, games, food, prizes, etc. I've signed up with my girlfriend.
Oh yes, and our local Hot Topic(dear lord I don't belong there, my friends dragged me I swear) had a large table full of Hunger Games merchandise just as you walked in, when I went to the mall last Friday. Near the back, a large shelf sat weighed down with Twilight merchandise.
"CLEARANCE" read a sign above the shelf. It made me so happy.

I hate who they cast the role of Peta as. I realise that iin the books they called him muscular, but he seemed like a weakass for most of the books. I just enver pictured in my mind him having muscles and it's weird now.
