EDIT: I forgot that I had a demo test of this when I was at a friends it was comfortable but I only had it on a short period of time. So I don't know if it gets uncomfortable over time.

I would suggest a Turtle Beach headset. The ones I have are 5.1 surround sound+mic and it's cheaper than that.

I don't approve of wireless headsets for the sole reason that they're not as reliable. Personally I have a Turtle Beach headset however I wouldn't recommend it as you could probably do better .. maybe I'm a tool but I suggest buying a Razer headset.

Of course there are many other brands to choose from but that's just one off the top of my head.

Wireless headsets get cross channel interference and it kills the sound quality. Go with AKG, Steel Series or if you don't want to buy it online, Logitech. Razer blows richard. Turtle beaches are pieces of stuff. Trittons are stuffty. Don't listen to the majority of the people in thos thread.


Note, this is coming from a hardcore audiophile.

pretty sure OP wants a PC headset. yeah those are likely compatible but if you want a PC headset, buying a 360 headset to use for your PC is just horrible

i got some this christmas and the sound quality is amazing
