Author Topic: My keycode Has been hacked!  (Read 3081 times)

There's just one problem...
You need a key to post on this forum.
read the whole sentence.

You key wasn't hacked. No one guessed your key. You don't need help. Your lying. Lock this topic.

This is exactly what i was thinking while reading the OP. Maybe you shared your key, it got de-activated, and you should just buy a new one?

Off-Topic - I noticed homepage of blockland.us was updated. I hope this hints at v21's releasing time.

Your key does NOT get deactivated. Why everyone thinks it gets deactivated...

Q: Can I loan my key to a friend?
A:
Your Authentication Key is what identifies you online. It represents your Blockland purchase. Loaning it to people is generally a really bad idea because only one of you can use it at a time.

Before you know it, your "friend" has given it to someone else and they've given it to 10 other people and you can never get online because your key is always in use.

Q: Can you use one key for multiple people?
A:
One key can be used for any number of people as long as they are using the same name and are at the same IP address (ie in the same house).

Clan tags can be used to distinguish different people with the same name.
So, no deactivation, just the huge failure for the idiot who gave it away that only one can use it at a time if they are in different private networks.

Your key does NOT get deactivated. Why everyone thinks it gets deactivated...

It can get de-activated if it is used say in... Germany and the United States and Mexico at the same time.

Meaning its being used by different people across the globe because you released it online. Then it can get de-activated. But this guy is just a fool anyways...

Except you can't use it in Germany and the US and in Mexico at the same time because only one gets in. The others get Authentication Failure and can not do aynthing usefull except demo mode.

Exactly, and if the people from Germany are on at the same time as the Mexican dude gets on, it can get your key de-activated from switching from place to place so quickly. Yes it will boot you off blah blah blah, but it can get you key de-activated. So if he gave his key out online and ass-loads of people across the globe are attempting to get on it, the key can get de-activated. Thats what i was suggesting... jeez...

Well if he was stupid enough to post it on Facebook then it's his own problem. I already got someone that irc'ed me his key when I was asking for his server password, lol. I said I gonna post in on the internet and that he freaked out so badly, calling himself an idiot a billion times. That was acually funny. Btw, that guy was Negative, a year ago.

Somebody who is so damn desperate and a LOT of time could take weeks putting in random letter and number combinations and finally get one.
If they tried every day, every 5 minutes until the day they died.

They still probably wouldn't get one.

They are more likely to be struck by lightning. More likely to get hit by a meteor probably.

1,152,921,504,606,846,976 (1.152 quintillion combinations) for each BLID. This number is multiplied by 33,554,432 if no research is done about the first 5 characters in the key.
So lets say you do 1 every 5 seconds... It might take you a few thousand years. Its more that you get sucked in a hole in the time tha. that you guess a Blockland key, both is like 0%.

So lets say you do 1 every 5 seconds... It might take you a few thousand years. Its more that you get sucked in a hole in the time tha. that you guess a Blockland key, both is like 0%.
now add in the time it takes to authenticate each time.

A few million or billion years
Lets calculate... A year = 356 * 24 * 60 * 60 seconds
So a year is 31,536,000 seconds... You put one in every 20 secs...
1,576,800 Keys a year, with NO brakes.
S itll take you about 6.8 * 1011 Years, that means 680,000,000,000 Years.
Itll take half a quadrillion years. The sun will run out of energy before you tried out all combinations.mMaybe even a new universe gets born before.

Hi I Need help finding  a new keycode Mine has been hacked By somebody I need help:C

Your key has only ever been used by one IP address - the one you're using right now.  There is no evidence that anyone else has access to your key.

This

And

Kalphiter, there are only 26 letters A-Z, not 36.
