Blockombat has an XM8, and it's in-dev/in-development meaning you won't get it until the entire pack is done or the Beta has been released

XM8 was tested by the US military as a replacement for the M4.
It had a stuffload of stuff that was pretty cool for it, different configs, camo, etc.

But during the firing tests, I think it was the barrel or the plastic polymer shell that melted.

Also, XM8 is just a souped-up G36 rifle. Not much of a difference.
