In my electronics class a few years ago, the teacher just passed multimeters to everyone, and was explaining how to use them, when suddenly we he a crack and a kid jumps up cuz he stuck the leads in a nearby outlet without turning it to the right setting.
Fried the meter and burned the plastic around the opening of the outlet.

Actually, numerous studies have shown a negative correlation between intelligence and religion.
Simply put, countries with a higher average IQ have a lower percentage of people claiming that religion is important in their lives, while countries with a lower average IQ have a higher percentage.

When I was young (5-7), I once put a key into the wall socket (the +-terminal hole) and then I got shocked but the socket is still intact.
