do you know if she likes, say, clothes shopping or something? if so ask one of your other friends that's a girl what kind of clothes stores are "in" these days and then buy her some gift card to that store.. or if she's expressed any interest in a certain brand or something.

if you know that she has a different interest you could try and find something that's from a store that's more specific than.. say, Target or something.. those kind of gifts say "i don't really know what you want so I'm just going to get you something random and hope you like it".. you have to know something she likes lol
