I like how Mountain Lion costs $20 but Windows7 costs $220 to get all the features.
But, heres the catch. Apple only allows mountain lion to install if you match the prerequisites, where you have 10.8.11 which is Snow Leopard. But in order to get Snow Leopard you must have a installation of Leopard. But let's foreplay here, you own a Intel based mac and would like to get mountain lion. You are currently running Leopard or Tiger and I do realize Tiger is old and what not but let's continue on, you must purchase Leopard, Snow Leopard, THEN purchase Mountain lion to fully upgrade. Well that can be costly.
Leopard: 270 dollars, according to amazon.com for just one user
Snow Leopard: 59.99 according to amazon.com for just one user
Mountain Lion: 19.99 according to mac appstore for just one user
Basically either way your paying for different OS weather or not your going from Leopard or Tiger to Mountain Lion, or you just could buy Windows 7 and not worry about having to install each of these on your mac just to get one operating system.
