There's this this called the Dell Dock. It looks a lot like the dock macs have.

XFCE is pretty neat too. The only reason I'm not using it is because xfwm doesn't have drop shadows, and getting everything to work nicely with compiz was a bitch. (It was for me anyway, though it shouldn't have been.)
