What I've done is I've taken a break from linux for about a month and now I've gone to elementary and now for the first time I can actually stick with a distro, give that a try

If you buy a PC with better performance than a Mac, you'll be able to have a lower buffer length (which is good), and you'll be able to export songs way faster. That, and you'll actually be able to run FL Studio.
