THE REALLY POPULAR ONES.And by that, I mean the 3 basic ones you can get for your tastes.

*RIVAL GAMES: GRAN TURISMO* Yes, That's right. Need for Speed. The classic series that has games ranging from devastating police chases, rocking the earth as you burn rubber into the pavement, to very wonderful attempts at racing simulation. This series should have some place in someone's heart. Whether your game is Underground, Carbon, Shift, or even World. Need for Speed has a game for everyone's tastes.
The original Need for Speed was released in 1994 for the
3DO, and then later released in 1995 for the
Sony Playstation and the
SEGA Saturn. This game was meant to feel like you really driving a real car. It was one of two serious attempts to make to provide a realistic simulation of handling and physics, without arcade-like elements. The game later evolved into a game meant about going fast, where realistic handling and physics were a thing of the past, until Porsche Unleashed/Porsche 2000, which was another sim game by the series, that focused entirely on Porsche's. The vehicle handling considered to be the most realistic in any NFS ever made, and it had tonnes of detail regarding the German made cars. However, things turned back to the way they were, where speed was the most important thing, and it was fitting. You could upgrade cars, add turbo, and run from the cops again (WITH the exception of Underground 1-2). The game was a beauty, and everyone loved it. Then, something happened that not very many expected. The Need for Speed series went back to simulation(ish) gameplay with ProStreet. The game was horribly bashed, because the series lost a bit of it's simulation flair, and it was a successful failure. Then Undercover came along for mobile devices, and ProStreet was left in the dust. Then Shift came along, where the whole series changed. It's difficult to explain how, but it wasn't a bad thing. However, the game went back to simulation again, and lots of people enjoyed it. Need for Speed was back in the Racing Sim business. Nitro-X wasn't a significant game, but it provided some entertainment to Wii and DS players. But, the year later, the franchise provided with even more, with Need for Speed World, and a Hot Pursuit re-release/re-make (kind-of) of the original. Hot Pursuit, which was wonderfully received. Even named Best Game of E3, the first NFS ever to win the award. Shift 2 was then released the next year, keeping the racing simulation in the business for the NFS series, and it received just as good scores as the first Shift. Now, not too long ago, Need for Speed: The Run was released, which had overall poor reviews. It was however, the first Need for Speed where you could get out of your vehicle.

*RIVAL GAMES: GRAN TURISMO*Forza Motorsport is a very popular and critically acclaimed racing simulation series developed by Turn 10 studios and published by Microsoft. I don't really have a story about Forza, because it's fairly dull, however the games themselves, are not. The series is completely focused on realistic simulation of enclosed racing, on real tracks all around the world. All of the Forza have have been well received by critics, and in contrast to Gran Turismo, it focuses on the modification of cars, in which each modification somehow effects the handling of your car, whether it causes tires to deform slightly less, or completely alter the handling of your vehicle. So, if you ahve some Microsoft device, and want a great racing game, this one is for you! Forza 5 has also featured a coalition with TopGear, a very popular TV show in the U.K.
