he DOES have a point

But it's negated by the ideals behind the confederate flag. Gay people just want to get married or some stuff like that. The confederacy stood for the enslavement and materialization of people on the basis of race.

love is not

gays want to get married and have equal love rights as others
you southern hicks wanted the north to either allow slavery or preserve it
