Author Topic: I've been recieving threatening messages over Youtube [Text wall warning]  (Read 1631 times)

Jesus, what did you say to him?
Absolutely nothing! A rage-filled message might have been somewhat acceptable if I had target him, but I didn't.

Now, did anyone the question at the end of my post? y/n?

I accidentally the question

and yes, arguing with senile elders is completely irrational and you should be lynched for disagreeing with this wise man

50 million "children" are aborted each year? So basically, if we did not have abortions, we'd have a quickly escalating population crCIA? Over the course of 20 years, we'd be up 1 billion in just children and young adults, the first 600 million of that 1 billion would be capable of reproduction.

If our population went out of control we'd have:
- More starvation, we wouldn't be able to produce enough food
- More disease, too many people living closely together
- More wars, countries would need more land, more food, and more water to sustain their population

5. Religion is better then science
ive heard that one before!

i dont know brother, you could say to him, with a nice and mannered tone, that you dont exactly agree with how science is better than religion, that it can actually be just as equally good, and see what he says.

its kind of weird how he would just bash you when you were directing nothing to him. you'd think a 70 year old man would have more sense than that :P

If religion wasn't holding the boundaries of science back, humans would be more technologically advanced.

Disagree all you want, you can't wish away facts.

NO RELIGION IS MAH LIFE AN U CANT TAKE DAT FRUM ME!!!!!!11!!
IT SHAPPD HOUR MDOREN WROLD!!!!!1!!!
SIANCE NEVAR DID!!!!!

only with more denture falling and heart attacks

mmm, i wasn't planning on disagreeing, because i've heard how we would be more advanced. many people seem to favor one over the other so i thought it'd be best to just accept both, instead of ruling one out over the other which a lot of people around me do, which really bothers me asdf

Ha ha ha, that guy is brilliant. Also OP his message isn't threatening. If telling someone your opinion and what you believe to be fact is threatening then I've made a lot of enemies.

It's been estimated you can fit every single human being in the state of Texas. I'm not exactly worried about "overpopulation". Stop cramming dumbstuffs in cities and things will look real thin.

I hate religious arguments.

You still can't help but see how much the population has increased. City population doesn't affect much.

I don't think you quite understood what I said. The faster our population increases, the sooner we will hit a point where our current resources cannot sustain that population. It's inevitable that we will hit that point (assuming nothing happens to greatly reduce our population), but 50+ million more children a year would speed that up greatly (remember that this growth rate is exponential, so the rate of growth would increase every year).

Science is the only way we can fix this, by creating more efficient means of producing food, housing people, getting clean water, etc.

I died of laughter

that's all I can type as I'm stil laughing

I guess you forgot about the 71% of Earth that is water, and let's not forgot the lots of desert both polar and equatorial.

It's not worth arguing he will never see a different point of view.
