Thank you for giving me the idea of slapping shark flippers on a human's arms and calling it some alien name.

Really, cat-looking people are rather common in drawings.

not so common if they are made for a story. Anyways its sortov going an extra mile adding them, though the road is well trodden.

People holding swords and big guns are bad asses untill you give them cat ears. Then they are pathetic.

I agree that it ruins it, it would at least make sense if they had other feline features, but as is, ugh

I beg to differ

Only works in Spiral Knights. *shrugs*

At the moment, those irregular characteristics are un-transitioned and unaccompanied. As such, changing their facial structure more along with their eyes, skin, and hands might be a decent idea. Otherwise, it's a bit of a copy/paste effect.

What I mean by un-transitioned is that you cannot see where either meets the body, and though I definitely am against illustration of either point of connection, other more gradual and integrated would be great.

so you are saying... Make them have a more furry look, like fur instead of skin? And make the facial/bodily structure resemble a more feline-ish look? Im just trying to get things straight cause you are one of the only people who have offered useful suggestions, and they are sounding interesting.

this is so awkward and bad it makes me laugh

sorry but trying to make a tough badass with cat ears..

Everyone has to start from somewhere.

exactly    i mean im not exactly a master artist, and the majority of my skill is self-taught

also i plan on, with the changes to the characters, making the main character's sword... Less immpossible        if you knew what it was capable of you would understand.

I liked the drawings, but that one dude's sword is far too wide to be at all realistic

yeah, the blade is being replaced very soon with new simpler design. The current one's internal mechanics are pretty fantastical and unrealistic

I though the sword design was interesting. The hand guard does need some work though.
