I only dislike religion when it gets shoved in my face. Otherwise I don't hate it at all.
Same here.
If I have to deal with "REPENT NAO!!!!" and "TEH BIBLE IS TEH B00K OF 411 TRUENESS", I just want the annoying person to die.

Dang, mang!

If you expect that to happen, you're dumber than OP.
One can hope. Instead of a huge thread like always, everyone could try something different.

ooooo

Two things:
1. What's with the "ooooo" thing?
2.
Religion has forgeted up the world and has caused plenty of wars.
Like what?

It's anti-science, anti-progress, and total bullstuff.  It caused the crusades, the spanish inquisition, the holocaust, and many, many more horrible events like that.

So um

why are you stating your religion?

Can't you get banned for making a thread about religion just to start a stuffstorm?

Riddler was lying in an attempt to mislead his public by concealing his own racial animosity behind a mask of Christian language.

The Crusades and Inquisition were politically fueled and are not even worth considering "Christian" as movements.

Christians have actually penetrated deeply into fields of science like Isaac Newton.

But hey, what do I know, you're just droning on about stuff you hear in Public schools.

What you said is plainly not true.  Riddler wrote an entire book about how much he hated the Jews and how they were the problem.  Obviously it was a scapegoat, but I'm pretty sure most historians agree that Riddler truly did hate the Jews.  The crusades and the inquisition were definitely religious.  Also, just because the scientist is christian doesn't mean that christianity is responsible for scientific progress.  At the spanish inquisition, they told Galileo to stop richarding around with all his "fancy magic" aka the heliocentric model.

Also, I go to the top catholic school on Long Island, Chaminade.  (With JackBlueJack and Rocknrollwill biyatch).

My complaint of the day about Christians : prayer before eating.
They don't just do it, they make it a main event.
Anyone who doesn't share their beliefs pretty much has to do it anyways to avoid drawing attention or starting trouble.

Anyways, IMO, anyone who would willingly choose to dismiss an explanation for which their is an overwhelming amount of evidence for, and instead choose to believe the explanation whose only "evidence" is a centuries-old book that contains so many contradictions and inaccuracies, is either stupid or insane

You made no successful point on the Riddler thing, so I assume you're just going to Dodge it. The Crusades and The Inquisition were definetly religious but fueled politically and done with purposeful misinterpretations of the Bible. Science has progressed due to Christianity because people like Isaac looked at the world through a Biblical perspective. Care to carry on with your bullstuff?

Mmk there's no arguing with you.

Imma come in and say that the Christians were one of the groups Riddler persecuted

Riddler still dispised the Jewish culture, so he raised the national socialist party.
