Hey I played this a long time ago.

It was weird and a lot of the content was old/temp sprites or just didn't work.

I've yet to find any real tactical advantage to building your whole village on the surface. The underground is so much easier and less painful on your building materials.

food is quite easy on the surface, you can't grow wheat underground
