Reginald: Well, well, well. Looks like our "heroes" are trying to run away.

I am Reginald, the Vampire King's proud butler and his personal assassin.

This is the Endless Hallway, a hallway that was specially made to never end.
It's impossible to run away.
You also don't seem to understand how I killed an undead? Of course you don't, you're just a small amateur swordsman.

Vantas: We don't have time for this, we need to get my familiar's soul back!

Vantas: Okay, enjoy yourself...I'll...just be going on ahead.

With two expert swordsmen facing eachother, the great battle in the Fortress of Illusions started.

No matter what you do, he keeps blocking your attacks by simply holding his sword into your direction.

Geno(thoughts): This guy...his blocking skills are amazing.
What should I do...if he's already this good at blocking, how terrifying could his attacks be? He even murdered an undead in one hit...

Race: Fishman
Description:
 - Amphibious freelance bounty hunter. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, it is with a certain finesse (with swordfighting skill to match), despite his somewhat rough appearance. He is not equipped with armor and his hitpoints are not the best, but he makes up for it in dexterity.
Class: Dual/Solo Swordsman
Weapon: the Kaernk; twin-blade sword, detachable into two dual rapiers
Attacks: (slashes), (stabs), (thrusts), Counterattack (Blade-based attack damage is deflected while in stance; loses stance upon counterattacking), Hyper Cutter (Think Kirby's Cutter ability. Velshyyr slashes upward into the air, then comes back down, hitting the ground.)
Skill: Absorption
 - Velshyyr will slowly regenerate health while in water. This will not affect wounds, poison, or similar status effects.

Familiar: Ydrakii
Race: Animal (Water Dragon)
Details:
 - Velshyyr's loyal dragon companion. Mounted pouch allows for item storage. Velshyyr can mount Ydrakii to fly; despite Ydrakii's amphibious nature, Velshyyr can swim just fine, and does not need to mount Ydrakii in water. Ydrakii cannot talk, but has enough intelligence to interact with certain objects.

A fierce sword fight occurs, Geno lands several hits on Reginald, although he seems to be taking no damage at all.

Reginald: Enough of your puny attacks? Alright then...my turn!

He turns into a bat!



Reginald: Copy.



Then merge.



Then sprout...



Then SLAUGHTER!

Geno: What the hell is that?!

The bat mass raises its humongous sword and aims for Geno, but he manages to block it with his swords.
Still, the impact is so great that Geno is smashed the other way.





Geno: Dammit, I'm going to get him for thi-Wait a second.
There's an exit! I have to get out of here and figure out how to damage Reginald, but on a safe spot.

He runs up the stairs hastily.

Reginald: Damn, I lost him!
But it won't matter. Soon, both of them will see what happens when you go against the Vampire King...
