Vantas does not need powder, he is intelligent, he knows that undeads are weak against magic.
But still, he throws some powder his way and tries to strike him, but it is blocked by his magic shield(yeah, that was included in the animation.)

vantas uses charged shot, it succesfully lands a hit on mysterious hooded guy #2, and he loses 10% of his stamina.
mysterious hooded guy #2 uses his flame tome to cast a flame spell on you, and you also lose 10% of your stamina.

but since i'm too tired, it's going to be another text update

vantas shoots another charged shot but the mysterious hooded guy #2 avoids it.
he was slowed down though, so vantas succesfully strikes him.
magicians don't have that much strength, so only 3% of his stamina is dropped.
