air is a mixture of gases

but 'alchemy elements are water, fire, earth, and air' doesn't make much sense

those are the 'elements' that were thought to make up everything back a long time ago in a galaxy far far away (i guess it's a really old interpretation of alchemy)

Well, the whole conversation was about a custom map for Minecraft my friend was making. He said there was a water temple, a fire temple, and an earth temple or something. And I had brought up air, because when "elements" are a theme, they're usually the ones in alchemy, earth, fire, water, and air.

And then that idiot chimed in.
