Author Topic: "Remove "In God we trust" from legal tender" Petition on Whitehouse.gov  (Read 27110 times)

only 15% of america has no religous beliefs, athiests shouldnt give 2 stuffs about what their country's motto is.
athiests who really care that much about how their stupid useless country motto shouldnt have the word "god" in it are completely handicapped.

most of america isnt athiest, and athiests try to spread their word of "god doesnt exist! god doesnt exist!" just like loving jennovah's witnesses its dumb as hell
This nation is supposed to be equal. It doesn't matter if atheism is the minority, it still matters. Also we aren't try to say "god doesn't exist!", we're saying the country is one from many.

I think I'm done arguing with anyone opposing this unless they actually have a decent argument. Ninja guy an Alyx Vance don't know how logic works.

are you handicapped?
:I

Pretty sure there's more than one religion here.

No, we view things a lot more differently though.  It's one thing to remove a name from a coin, it's another to know how much people hate you for your religion and how many want it removed. I see this as just a start.
This isn't hating on people. We're removing a motto. Nobody is attacking your religion.

There's no arguing with you loving people.

ye who says yes to this i will personally burn and then stuff down your neck...

Okay, but there are lots that do that.

I honestly have never met an Atheist IRL that does that

it seems to me that they're always the pretentious internet trolls that do

i personally think they should put more thought to how well our money works, not what text is on it  :cookieMonster:

Even if it was removed nobody would notice.

ye who says yes to this i will personally burn and then stuff down your neck...
If you're going to post something stupid, at least say why.

i personally think they should put more thought to how well our money works, not what text is on it  :cookieMonster:
We should switch to the Amero.

ye who says yes to this i will personally burn and then stuff down your neck...

i dont get it, i just refer to it as god and you are trying to contradict me, all main religions that are in the USA are polytheistic.
and if you dont believe that let me elaborate for you:

Judaism: One god
Islam: One god
Hinduism: Has one god that takes many forms over reincarnation. even hindus say they are polytheistic.
Buddhism: direct descendent of Hinduism with the same gods.

all thats left is Ethnic religions, but all religions have a god, so the "in god we trust" motto can refer to anyone to them.

you guys really dont know what you are talking about

Oh the irony

Also, you need to understand that "God" capitalized normally implies the Christian god

you guys really dont know what you are talking about
And you REALLY need to re-take US history.

I'm pretty sure buddhism has no gods. Only the buddha or teacher.
