I remember the first time you joined this forum, you were a complete cutie. I think you changed your age a some point while you were here.

lol your game is bad. hold down numpad right and up and you will keep winning
>>right
>>up
yeah have fun dying
I... I didn't like your game. The animations, Gravity Control, ect were just too, stiff.
:c
it was a short-notice game, and we had a stuffload of dead weight on our team unfortunately
Hope your entre wins.
Tried it, The only thing it lacked was a story and animations like turning upsidedown.
yeah we tried to do a 'story' with the collectibles
as for the animation, I loving told one of the guys on our team to put it in
but again, dead weight

Do you have an entire year to make the game? Or is it timed?

We didn't find out about it until pretty late in the year, and our team was kinda stuff. We'll be doing more games with different people, and I'll post them on the forums when we do. We'll also be doing more competitions, hopefully.

STEAM game design challenge

questions for you

did your team compose the music?
did your team make the sprites?

also when you die why is the sound overlapped with the music + only coming from the left speaker?

STEAM game design challenge
yeah no
we'd lose hard
questions for you

did your team compose the music?
did your team make the sprites?

sprites = yes
music = our friend made it

tried playing it. got to a point where the music became so repetitive I wanted to kill myself so I just stopped playing.

in certain parts I couldn't tell whether difficulty was intended or not. it wasn't level design - that was all very basic. it feels like your gravity mechanic is sloppy, holding the button down for a quarter of a second compared to a whole second sees a HUGE difference. the character goes flying through the air like a madman after less than two seconds of the button being held down.

the music isn't THAT repetitive, but yeah I agree, could have been way better
AS FOR THE LEVEL DESIGN AND BASIC MECHANICS
LET ME TELL YOU A LITTLE STORY ABOUT MY FRIEND
WHO DECIMATED OUR WORKFLOW BY BEING A HUGE BITCH ABOUT THE MECHANICS
always replacing stuff, starting arguments
and he also designed absolutely stuff levels, but we didn't have time to argue about it
jesus christ
next competition, it's just gonna be my friend Gabe and I, who were the primary contributors anyway
