Perhaps you should stop being so loving ignorant and actually tell people what's going on so we can understand why you're mad?
jesus christ fine you cigarette
in order to "level up" per se, you need honor points. right now i need 2500, and im at around 1900. you get a certain amount per day based on a number of factors, those factors basically being how happy your residents are.
i'll start from the top of the list.
the money, which is how much you tax your village. you can have a reasonable tax that doesn't affect how much honor you get. the more you tax them, the less honor you get. and vice versa for taxing less, or even bribing.
the food. you can give your residents however much food they need to survive, and i think it wont affect your honor. if you starve them, you lose honor. if you double their portions (like im doing in that photo) you get more honor.
the beer. same exact concept as food.
the bed. basically you get one extra honor point for every resident in your village. i have 27 right now, as depicted by the photo. you can't lose honor from this because it is not possible to have negative people in your village.
the colorful thingy. that's popular buildings and such. im not so sure on this one because that's more of a mid game thing, and i'm still relatively new and just now getting to mid game. i've got a theater that provides entertainment, and that's a popular building.
the last one is random events. this can include a lot of factors such as weather (which can also give honor if its like a sunny day or something), having a not enclosed castle (minus honor), having wolf lairs/bandit camps/castles in the perimeter of the parish (lots of minus honor). i have storms, which is minus 30 honor.
that's 66% of my normal honor being gone from some cigarettegy little loving rain clouds.
