whats with all the stuff servers

Whenever I try to host a server (and I try to make it interesting) I can't get it to fill.
Although that's mainly because I stopped hosting and my little playerbase has dissolved.

So, I'll have to host an rp server if I want people.

I had a decent TDM up last night. Maybe I'll host again today on one of my old TDM maps.

You have to name your server an RP just to get people to join.

I'm starting to dislike auto port forwarding now. Every server is now an RP and no one dares to join any server that isn't.


Hopefully with the lack of terrains and interiors we will have a few less RP servers. They can't role play camping unless they make their own terrain!

For some reason everytime I make a server, unless the name is really vague I always get 3-4 people to join after a few minutes. Now if only I gave those people something to do they'd probably attract others. The most I've had on a server was 22.

Host again! Your servers were super fun, the one where the teams build their bases and then try to destroy eachother.

We could use a Blacklisting mode, where we can block servers with something specific in their name, like "family" or "fam*"

This is close to what I suggested a few weeks ago.

I instantly leave servers when I'm like "oh this looks interesting and simple" then I join and it says to download like 600+ files.

I just host family RPs, get dozens of people, and just freebuild and occasionally do a more in-depth RP of my own. That way I can do whatever I want, have control over everything, and if I'm bored I can talk to people.

If I host a server titled "freeplay", however, no one joins despite the fact that only 1/4 of the people who join really do a family RP. The rest build and do dragon RPs.

Every time I host, I just freebuild myself and people with on average 30k+ ID's joins and spams or ask for admin constantly. Eventually, one friend of mine or someone with actual intelligence joins and we just forget around for a while until I leave. Actually, half the time I'm in my server I don't even bother to build, I just load something old and jump around on it.
