Author Topic: I wasn't going to make a topic today but this is just a really sad thing :c  (Read 732 times)

I apologize for making a topic like once a day but this is something that really saddened me.
Also to the atheist don't get all pissy just because I pointed out he was a preacher.
I rode my bike home sad as can be just holding back my feelings for the loss of hers, losing people hurts.
Well here is what happened VVV
I just rode down to the cemetery and talked with a nice lady. She told me bout how her husband died 3 years ago, it saddened me bout how she lost a lot. We kept talking and all and it turns out her husband was a farmer and a preacher. it saddened me to hear bout what happened.

We talked on and on bout how things were then we talked about the beautiful scenery around us and all that kind of things. Had a few tree's around us. A really beautiful cemetery. If I had a camera I would take pictures.

One again sorry for ANOTHER topic. I tried not to make one but I needed a time killer and the sun went down on me so no more bike riding.

NO HATEFUL COMMENTS! Please :c

I'm not really annoyed by your frequent posting.

Nonetheless, losing someone is sad.

Did you only get paid $2.50 an hour?

its sad man, i know how depressing it is to lose a loved one.

And the point of this story?

What are you talking about?

It is. I almost cried for a total stranger. And it takes a lot to make me break a tear. I was biting my lip watching her set up those flowers from the other side of the cemetery

And the point of this story?

It was sad, have you no heart for a working man?

Why do you press space so many times after each quote.

To make room.

Now back on topic please. This is a really sensitive subject.

My great-grandfather was killed in a car accident on the way home from giving a sermon at his church.
My uncle-in-law died as an construction worker while building a highrise.

I dont see whats sad about your story, working men die everyday.

No matter how frequently it would happen, the death of a close individual is always just as painful.

Never said it wasnt.
Why were you riding to a cemetery anyhow?

Maybe so but this was her husband were talking bout. A working man and a preacher giving the good word to the towns folk. Now if your a atheist (not just you but to everyone) don't get all like "OMG U BLEVE IN GOD U R STEWPID" its how I was brought up and I have reason to believe.

I was riding along and I seen the cemetery so I decided to visit. She happened to follow in behind. Problem?

Eh, I am an Atheist, and thats not why I dont really feel sad. Im just wondering why you feel sad that a pastor died.... 3 years ago. If he was a druggy, would you still feel bad?

I never said he was a druggy and he ain't a druggy. So how would I know?
If your just going to be a jackass then don't bother to come here to this topic.

Didnt say he was.
It just angers me when people say things like, "He was a great person, he lived a great religious life..." ect. When it doesnt mean anything. The only thing that matters when a man dies is how he died.
All I was saying is that if he died in a different way, you wouldnt feel bad.

Lets say a man lives a great life, gives to charity, does volunteer work, ect, but then Dies...
If the man dies from Cancer, people are sad, its a scary sickness.
If the man dies in the army, people say he gave his life for his country.
If the man dies in a car accident, Its tragic.
If the man gets killed in a fight, people say "Meh, he was a trouble maker"
If the man dies from a drug overdose, people dont care. Another druggy gone.
If the man dies from alcohol poisoning, people dont care. Another alcoholic gone...

I guess I dont see how this is relevant to what happened, it just sprang upon my brain.
